  • Macro to send email when an Incident ticket is re-opened

    Does anyone know the correct macro condition to send out an email when an incident ticket is re-opened. I currently have emails that are sent when tickets are opened, closed and re-assigned, but re-opening doesn't fire off an email.

    This should do the trick

    not same(status in $L.old, status in $L.new) and status in $L.new="reopened"

      Thanks for the quick response. I tried the above in the macro condition and it didn't fire off an email. I'm assuming cause the field problem.status doesn't show as reopened, but as open?
